Addition Financial Debuts Patient-Designed Debit Card Supporting Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children

Addition Financial Credit Union has launched a new affinity debit card to benefit Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, allowing members to support lifesaving pediatric care with everyday purchases.

The co-branded Addition Financial Visa® debit card features artwork by sisters Celeste (7) and Gabi (10), patients at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer, whose artwork won the contest to design the card -- a celebration of the creativity and resilience of the children Orlando Health serves.

Addition Financial will donate $0.03 for every transaction, with funds supporting programs and services that help deliver world-class pediatric care.

Addition Financial Foundation Awards 2026 Scholarships to 10 Students, Marking 20th Anniversary of Program

Addition Financial and the Addition Financial Foundation are celebrating 20 years of investing in student success by awarding scholarships to 10 outstanding students through its 2026 Joseph A. Melbourne Jr. Annual Scholarship Program -- its largest group of recipients to date.

Named in honor of Addition Financial Credit Union’s former President and CEO, the program provides financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. This year, the Foundation expanded the program to reach more students than ever before, awarding eight scholarships to high school seniors and two to graduate-level students. Each recipient will receive $2,500 for the 2026–2027 academic year.

This year’s recipients include four students from Seminole County Public Schools, three from Orange County Public Schools, and one from Volusia County Schools, along with two graduate-level students.

Addition Financial Honors Teachers and Nurses Across Florida and South Georgia During National Appreciation Weeks

During National Teacher Appreciation Week and National Nurses Week, May 4 through May 8, 2026 Addition Financial Credit Union traveled across Central Florida, the Florida Big Bend and South Georgia to recognize and celebrate local teachers and nurses through a special community outreach initiative called the “Thank You Tour.”

The Addition Financial “Thank You Tour” visited schools and healthcare facilities in Orlando, Kissimmee, Lake Mary, Leesburg, Tallahassee, Thomasville and other communities across Florida and South Georgia as part of the credit union’s ongoing commitment to supporting education, healthcare workers and community partnerships.

At each stop, a gourmet coffee cart vendor served free specialty beverages on-site to help teachers and nurses recharge during their workday. Attendees also had the opportunity to enter raffles for prizes, including $100 Visa gift cards.
