Orlando Business Journal Spotlights Addition Financial’s Role in International Commercial Mission Trip
Lake Mary, Fla (Sept. 11, 2023) – Fresh off what he calls a “super networking event,” Joel Martinez, Senior Relationship Manager with Addition Financial Credit Union, spoke with Ryan Lynch of the Orlando Business Journal about the opportunity he and the credit union had to take part in an international commercial mission trip to Central and South America.
The August trip, organized by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando, took a group of Central Florida government and business leaders to Panama City, Panama, and Medellín, Colombia. The group met and networked with officials and business leaders in the countries as well as visiting areas such as the Panama Canal.
Martinez told the outlet the trip was “an opportunity to engage with the different people on the trip, whether a business owner, an elected official or someone who represents an organization. For us, we’re always looking for partnerships and different ways to support our community.”
